D K Shivakumar dismissed reports that Congress state president B K Hariprasad
was not invited to an event marking 100 days of his government, saying
invitations had been sent to everyone, including opposition MLAs.
“Every CM and everyone
responsible in the government has to give him that respect. He is our party
president. He is supreme. He is above the CM,” he said. Chief Minister marked
100 days in office by launching several initiatives and seeking to underscore
continuity in the implementation of the Congress government’s welfare
guarantees
